This 1954 gem was originally designed and built as a “General Electric Home” to display all of the new technologies GE had to offer. The clients wanted to update the space while maintaining the amazing mid-century features like the round brick fireplace and built-in brick planters.
The trickiest part of this job was creating new surfaces to match the original materials, particularly the brick and mahogany. We went to ten different sources to find the right wood to create a seamless look.
