In 1948, the movie Mr. Blandings Built His Dreamhouse was released, and as a marketing tool, every state in the USA had a “Mr. Blandings Dreamhouse” built. Not surprisingly, when Julia Wood got the call to do a kitchen and entry remodel, she knew she had to keep the historical components, but bring a modern touch to the house.
