How does a majestic, historic home built in anticipation of the 1905 Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition end up featured in the modernist bible Dwell? With a ton of creative problem-solving, hard work, and a client interested in maintaining historic features while also pushing design boundaries. Special attention was given throughout to creating wood surfaces that blend with original details. The exterior siding was custom run as well, to allow for a seamless flow between the remodel and the original structure.
